I tried to get ideas of themes to use and so was given, football or gardening!! The football team in question has a maroon colour scheme and so I decided to go with that. I thought I could bring in the gardening/natural aspect by using some kraft card - perhaps a tedious link!!
Anyway, here is what I created. Luckily, my friend is over the moon with it!!

The Birthday sentiment comes from Uniko Studio's 'A gift for you' set. The 'Happy' is from Clearly Besotted Fresh Flower set and the Dad is by personal impressions - a real mix!!!!
There is some DP by docrafts capsule collections - they are so versatile. I thought this one replicated footballs a bit!!!
Since the theme at Time Out this time is a birthday card (masculine if possible), I thought I would enter this card.

ReplyDeleteI laughed when I read your response to the "please make me a card" request, because that's exactly my reaction! It's so much easier just to make 'whatever' and hope that someone might like the result! Still, the challenge of doing something special is intriguing. Your card, Laura, is absolutely brilliant and and "handsome": personalized, creative, and totally "guy" perfect! Isn't it cool how Uniko and CB products work well together? You're rockin' with both companies' products!
